# 9.2 Editor presets

> Save and switch editing environment by task type

Editor presets\
let you **save and switch** editor settings by task type.

Path: **Settings → Editor → Preset**

Instead of editing one setup over and over,\
you pick an environment and apply it.

## What is saved?

A preset includes:

* Default font
* Font size
* Line height
* Paragraph spacing
* Indent size
* Zoom
* Color settings
* Auto-input options

So the **whole writing environment** is saved as one set.

## Built-in presets

At the bottom of the Editor settings\
you get platform-style presets.

Font, line spacing, and layout are pre-set\
for each platform so you can match submission format quickly.

## Creating a new preset

From the top menu\
choose **Create new preset**\
to save your own environment.

Examples:

* Draft (wider line spacing)
* Proofread (larger font)
* Planning (tighter paragraph spacing)

## When presets help
