# 5. Tasks

> What tasks are, screen layout, linking to files, status and progress, using them in your flow

In Pensiv, tasks are\
**what push thought to the finish line**.\
They turn ideas from documents, plot, and sheets\
from "someday"\
into "by when."\
Tasks are not for planning;\
they’re the **tool that fills the last step** so thinking doesn’t stop.
