The command palette
is the main entry point for almost every action in Pensiv.
It gathers features from different screens and menus
into one input box
so you can navigate, manage, and configure in one flow.

① Navigation

From the command palette
you can jump to main screens and files.
  • Go to work home
  • Open Tasks
  • Open Notes
  • Open Graph view
  • Open a specific document, sheet, or file
You don’t need to remember where something is —
you type the destination by name.

② File and sheet actions

You can manage files
without opening them first.
Actions apply to the selected file(s):
  • Move file
  • Duplicate
  • Move to trash
  • Open that file’s note
  • Set label
  • Change status
File management
happens without going to another screen.

The command palette
includes strong search:
  • Full search
  • Search by file name
  • Search commands themselves
The point of this search
is not just to find something.
Search is a sub-feature of the command palette.
As soon as you find it, you can run the next action.

④ Settings and environment

You can change environment
without breaking flow:
  • Open Settings
  • Toggle dark mode
  • Change system theme
  • Open log folder
Environment changes
are just another action.

Summary

The command palette
is not a menu of features.
It’s an action layer across all of Pensiv. Instead of wondering where something is,
think what you want to do.
The command palette
executes that intent as fast as possible.
