Path: Settings → Project → Sync / Import It’s not directly about writing,
but you should check it for data safety.

Sync settings

Controls where and how project data is stored. Sync settings

Local-only mode

When enabled,
data is not synced to the server
and is stored only on the current device.
  • Work without network
  • Server sync is off
Choose based on your setup.

Backup and restore

You can save and manage project data as files.

Export backup

  • Save the whole project as a .pnsv file
  • Put the backup where you want

Manual backup

  • Save the current state anytime
  • Use “Save now” to create a backup

Open backup folder

  • Open the folder where backups are stored

Change backup location

  • Change where backups are saved by default
Backups
are a local copy of your data,
independent of sync.

Import documents

Path: Settings → Project → Import You can import external documents into the project. Supported formats:
  • DOCX
  • EPUB
  • TXT
  • MD
  • HWP
Drag a file in
or use “Select file” to import.
Use this when bringing existing manuscripts into Pensiv.
