place thoughts, files, and their relationships in space and try out structure. Before you write sentences,
or when you want to step back from what you’ve written,
the canvas pauses the flow and makes you look at structure first.

The canvas is not where you write the answer.
It’s where you move things until the answer appears. If writing directly in a document is hard,
put it on the canvas first.
Once structure is visible,
the next sentence follows more easily.
